Programs for children and youth of parents with a mental illness (peer support and education programs)

The COPMI Co-ordinator works in partnership with mental health services to facilitate service enhancements for families where a parent has a mental illness.

The NSW COPMI Framework for Mental Health Services 2010-2015 provides the overarching framework across services, and the local Western Sydney Local Health Network COPMI Implementation Plan (2010-2015) provides specific direction for all staff.

Key aspects of the COPMI Co-ordinator role include:
