Horizons is a service to families in the ACT where one member of the family has a mental illness which is impacting on the health and wellbeing of the whole family. The program is aimed at families where at least one child is in the 0-8 year age group.

Referral does not require a clinical diagnosis.

The program offers both a home visiting family support service and a counselling service for parent-child relationships impacted by the mental illness. Horizons is not a clinical mental health program, it is a strengths based program which is funded by FaHCSIA under the Community Based Mental Health Program.
