Checklist for Family Sensitive Practice for the Alcohol and Other Drug Field
The 'Checklist for Family Family Sensitive Practice' is part of the resource 'For Kids' Sake, A Family Sensitive Policy and Practice Toolkit'.
The toolkit aims to minimise cases of child abuse or neglect by increasing collaboration between child and adult service agencies. It is an initiative developed by The National Research Centre on Alcohol and Other Drugs Workforce Development organisation to improve the safety and welfare of children with parents who misuse alcohol or drugs. The toolkit builds a bridge between the alcohol and other drugs (AOD) treatment and child protection sectors to improve cooperation and collaboration.
