Evaluating the Keeping Families and Children in Mind Online Resource
Participant surveys
An important part of developing a workforce training package is to assess its effectiveness. If you are about to undertake training using the Keeping Families and Children in Mind Online Resource we require your help.
What is involved?
You will initially complete a 15 minute survey either in hard copy or on line. If you are completing the training in a group your training facilitator will most likely ask you complete the survey. The survey asks for information about your background, the type of training you undertook and your knowledge and practices involving families with a parent with a mental illness. Importantly the information collected from the surveys will ultimately help children and families.
After finishing the training, we ask you to fill out a second short survey. Finally you will complete a third survey in 4-6 months time. Completing the final survey is very important as it will allow us to judge the long term value of the training resource.
If you are not completing the training in a group please return to this page in future to complete post training and follow up surveys. Should you need any help please contact the Australian national COPMI office on 08 8367 0888 or email to: copmi@aicafmha.net.au.
We emphasise that your involvement is VOLUNTARY and that your ANONYMITY is assured – note that Monash University ethics committee have approved the project.
