Prevention services and helplines

Family on computerThe kind of help you need if you're a parent who experiences a mental illness will vary based on your individual needs.

Before you use the search function on this page, please make sure you read about how to 'Find help'.

Note: The prevention services and programs below are specifically related to children of parents with a mental illness and their families. They range from camps for kids and support programs for carers, through to supported playgroups and assistance for parents.

We recommend that you talk to your doctor or support worker regarding how appropriate they may be for you and your family and about others that may be available in your area.
